What's the difference between Adoption, Production, and Governance?

They unlock progressively more capability. Adoption gives you everything you need to prove CacheFly works — full API, EdgeControl sandbox, real CDN engineers on support. Production adds the features customer-facing traffic needs: full EdgeControl, WebSockets, WAF/DDoS, log shipping, invoice billing. Governance adds enterprise-grade identity and compliance controls: SSO, RBAC, audit logs, sub-second TTL, compliance packs, and network isolation.

How does bandwidth pricing work?

Every tier includes 10 TB/month. If you need more, a CacheFly rep sizes a bandwidth commit based on how you actually deliver — your CDN region mix, traffic growth profile, and commit length. We don’t make you guess at a dropdown. The commit is designed around your real traffic patterns so you’re not overpaying for headroom you won’t use.

Do I have to buy a support plan?

No. Email support from CDN engineers is included free on every feature tier — Adoption through Governance. You add Silver, Gold, or Platinum when your workload requires SLA-backed response time guarantees. If you’re running production traffic, have live events, or leadership cares about uptime SLAs, that’s when a support plan pays for itself.

How do I know CacheFly is actually faster?

You can test it directly. Add CacheFly as a weighted DNS lane alongside your existing CDN and route a slice of live traffic through both. No migration, no risk to production. Most customers run a bake-off for 30 days and measure performance on their own traffic. The speed improvement we cite — at least 6% faster throughput — is from independent testing on live production traffic, not lab benchmarks.

What makes CacheFly different from AWS CloudFront or Cloudflare?
