Start where it’s justified
Private CDN does not require moving your delivery footprint at once. Most deployments begin in selected markets or for selected workloads, while everything else continues on CacheFly’s shared network or another provider – and it is the most dedicated tier of a path you can enter at any point.
These are not sequential requirements. Enterprises with an immediate dedicated-capacity requirement start at stage three.

Discovery. Use case, priority markets, traffic profile, peak and failover requirements.

Capacity plan. We size the deployment around your peak and the load it must absorb if another CDN fails – so it is built for the traffic it may need to carry, not only what it carries on an average day.

Commercial design. Term, responsibilities, availability and acceptance conditions, agreed before anything is built.

Deployment. A traffic-ready point of presence takes 14 to 30 days once design and commercial terms are agreed, depending on market, capacity and connectivity.
